Worship With Us

Worship is the heart of our community at Saint Paul's,
and all are welcomed to join us!

Sunday Morning Worship Services Weekly at 11:15 am

Our weekly worship services are rooted in the traditional liturgy of the Evangelical Lutheran Church, centered around the Word and Sacrament. In worship, we join together in prayer, singing, learning, and receiving God's love and mercy through the sacraments of Holy Communion and Baptism. At Saint Paul's, our weekly services include hymns and liturgy accompanied on the pipe organ and singing led by our chancel choir. We receive Holy Communion each Sunday.

Special Worship Opportunities

In addition to our weekly worship services, the congregation of Saint Paul's gathers throughout the year for special times of worship. These include services for the liturgical season (Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and others). We also gather during the seasons of Lent and Advent, times of preparation for the great celebrations of Easter and Christmas, for special mid-week vespers services.

Once a year, we hold an outdoor worship service with our sister congregation (Bethany Lutheran Church), followed by a potluck picnic.

Another long-held tradition at Saint Paul's is our annual Harvest Home Service, typically held in early-October. Our sanctuary is decorated with the produce of the recent harvest as we praise God and celebrate the rural heritage of our community and church.

What we believe:

Picture
All people seek meaning. This can come in the form of knowledge, relationships, spirituality or organized religion. The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), of which Saint Paul's Church is a member, is part of the Christian church. We believe God’s grace, God’s unfathomable love, is available to all people as a gift through Jesus Christ.

God is the creator of the world; the giver of life; the source of wholeness, healing and forgiveness; the champion of the poor and oppressed; the power of new life and resurrection. God creates, redeems and continues to sustain the world. As Christians, we believe all people are created in God’s image and loved by God.
As an ELCA congregation, we strive to be a community of faith that gathers for worship, fellowship, learning and service. Saint Paul's Church is a place to find connection with others as you experience and share God’s love and grace together.
